The Picture House, the Gallery/Studio/Frame Shop, is located at 85 Homer Ave, Cortland, NY, 13045.
As active artists, the Picture House staff, David and Kathie Beale and Emily Gibbons, are acutely aware of the conflict between financial constraints and the need for professional presentations with which most artists struggle. As a result, we have developed special framing programs and rates for artists which stress archival products at affordable prices. Online framing arrangements are a viable option. Please contact me or visit picturehouseonline.com for more information.

The Picture House, with its tag line of "The House of Good Listeners," has as a top priority getting a feel for what the customer desires. The staff works under the premise that custom framing, archival printing, painting restoration, and the sale of original art work, all services provided by The Picture House, should provide an enjoyable and meaningful experience for the individual client. The approach to commission painting involves getting to meet and know the subject, if possible or appropriate, and understanding the emotional import of the project to the customer. Commission subjects also include historical portraits, animal portraits, and landscapes.
