The Homestead

The painting is based on two photographs, one of the Murphree sisters, distant relatives, from 1898, and the other of the Gibbons sisters, Hannah, Emily and Meghan, from approximately 100 years later. The painting has been accepted into the 2011 Pennsylvania Watercolor Society Juried Exhibit
